Method to collect wild plants
Florist: Takako Mine
siu siu Lab, 2015
“About plants in Taipei which gave me reason and hope to live here.” Takako Mine.
A Japanese florist Takako Mine eventually fell in love with the beauty of wild plants in Taiwan. The subtle and unique style of her helps to show the natural beauty of plants. In several floral workshops of siu siu lab, instead of giving students technical methods, she chose to show them the proper attitude of how to cut the plants from wildness. In particular angle and position of cutting, she keeps the plants alive and only takes the parts she really needs. From a single flower to a forest, she never stops practicing this sustainable method of treating nature.
